Not sure if anyone else out there in the blogosphere is preggers, but I thought I'd share with you some of my recent fashion purchases that have taken me through my entire pregnancy.
I found that it's pretty challenging to a.) find affordable maternity clothes, b.) find stylish clothes that don't scream "HEY, I'm pregnant!, and c.) find affordable stylish clothes that don't make me want to put a bag over my head. So here's a peek into my NEW wardrobe…
Stock up on LONG TANKS + TEES with cute details similar to those found in your pre-preggo closet:
Michael Stars pocket tee
Chiarakrura Top with gathered sleeves [found at Ebay]
Michael Stars shine scoop neck Top also found at Ebay
…Ebay is definitely a great resource for affordable fashions.
Liz Lange Zipper flower top
Be Maternity Tank found at Target
Great layering tank…a wardrobe staple. And note that the Target version is 1/2 the price of ingrid & isabel's version. Also available in a cami. In my opinion I opted for these styles vs. the Bella Band knock-off found also at Target.
Drape Vest that looks great layered over the Be Maternity Tank, pair with skinnies.
Beaded Top at Old Navy on sale now for under $10.
Must have STYLISH DENIM with under-belly waistband :
Paige denim Jeggins
Plan on wearing these this fall, before & after B A B Y. So I guess that helped me justify the $$$??
Olian Capris
Maternal America ankle cropped jeans, also bought the capri version, shown here.
I would wear these almost every day if I could. They are great for work or play, especially if you don't won't to wear dark denim in the summer months [cause it's 100 degrees outside]. And I could so get used to the elastic waist idea, even if I wasn't "expecting".
American Apparel leggings with button detailing, found at Overstock for under $20.
Boyfriend Shorts
MATERNITY SWIMWEAR :
Swimwear by Maternal America
So maybe this one doesn't fall into the "affordable" category, but HEY we do live at the beach. Would suggest if you are going to splurge on something, this would be the purchase. You'll thank me later! And it's mid-summer, which means it's super hot and humid.
Embrace LOOSE FLOWY DRESSES :

Tunic/Dress by F.E.M. T Bags
…another Ebay find. Super cute when paired with leggings.

Maxi Dresses found here and here.
Kimono Sleeve Maxi Dress & Short Tiered Dress
OK, so maybe these aren't actually found in the maternity section, but because of its empire waist and flowy style, you can totally pull this one off.
